GSoC 2026 Mentee

About Me

I'm Daksh Pathak, a software developer, machine learning student, and active open-source contributor interested in backend systems, DevOps, cloud-native infrastructure, and applied AI.

I'm currently a Google Summer of Code 2026 mentee with the University of Alaska, building TENeT, the Telehealth Effectiveness and Necessity Tracker. The work combines Python, Docker, React, TypeScript, and research writing around telehealth access.

In open source, I contribute to OpenSSF Minder under LFX and have worked on Kyverno in the CNCF ecosystem, especially around testing, Rego policy logic, CEL validation, and contributor workflows with maintainers.

My project work leans practical: Kube-Janitor cleans up problematic Kubernetes pods with Slack notifications, Trace explores lightweight tracing for cloud-native apps, and Blue Carbon Registry experiments with transparent climate project monitoring.
